Structural Engineer with flair for Geotechnics

Do you have an interest in geotechnical solutions? Are you interested in applying your skills to offshore wind projects within a company that values teamwork and cross-functional collaboration?

Due to increasing demand, we are expanding and seeking new colleagues for our Offshore Substructure & Geotechnics team, based at our office at Østerbro in Copenhagen.

An exciting everyday life with varied tasks awaits you

In ISC, we work multidisciplinary, and see ourselves as a unified whole, driven by shared goals and a commitment to precision. We are well aware that any construction is only as strong as its individual components.

You will join our team within Geotechnics, an integral part of our Offshore Substructure & Geotechnics department at Østerbro in Copenhagen - or if you live in the area of Aarhus and find the position interesting, feel free to apply as well. It is a diverse and international team, collaborating on the design of structures and foundations for offshore wind projects worldwide.

We value a strong professional community and an informal environment where daily knowledge-sharing and mentoring are central. Here, you will have a thorough introduction to geotechnical theories and methods providing you with the best opportunities for professional growth through project work.

Your responsibilities

You will primarily work within offshore wind on international projects, where geotechnical analyses and modelling are essential for robust and efficient foundation solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessment of geotechnical parameters with a focus on solving complex foundation projects in the offshore sector.
  • Conducting geotechnical modelling and analysis for offshore substructures, including monopiles and jackets.
  • Developing design documentation and quality assurance.

Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced consulting engineer, we are looking forward to receive your application.

Your qualifications

Our work is project-oriented and will collaborate with colleagues located at our other branch offices in Denmark. It is therefore essential that you thrive in collaborating within project teams and understand how to take ownership and responsibility for your tasks.

You take pride in delivering technically strong solutions and you are able to maintain a good overview of tasks and deadlines.

We expect that:

  • You hold a BSc or MSc in civil engineering with a theoretical background in statics and dynamics.
  • You are a proactive team player and able to solve tasks independently as part of a team.
  • You have strong English skills both written and spoken.

We value:

  • Experience with FEM calculation programs for geotechnical modelling, preferably PLAXIS or similar.
  • Completed fundamental courses in geotechnics during your engineering studies and possibly specialized in it.

A technically strong workplace with room for innovative ideas

ISC offers a unique opportunity to dive into international projects, developing your skills and expertise. We value a work environment that encourages both deep focus and big ideas, where the organization provides the support you need to succeed. Our experienced engineers are ready to both teach and be inspired by your new input and ideas.

Additionally, you can look forward to:

  • A central office at Østerbro in Copenhagen
  • A flat structure where ideas turn into action quickly
  • An inspiring, open professional environment
  • An international team and project portfolio
  • Opportunities for professional development
  • Health insurance and health package
  • Salary based on qualifications
